Hull Colour Run - Saturday 24th September



Our Colour Run is BACK for the third year!!

Join us on Saturday 24th September for Hull’s only powder paint fun run!

Walk, jog, run, skip or dance your way through the 5k course and be blasted into another colour dimension at each kilometre!
There will be games and food and a fun warm up to get you all in the festival spirit.

The prices are:

Adult (16 and over)-£25

Child (5-15)-£15

Family (2 adults, 2 children)-£70

Through the Lens Photo Competition 2016

Photo Competition
We want to capture this ‘Summer of Fun’ in Holderness in a gallery of photographs to mark and record these events, whether that be your family having fun, your best photo of a scarecrow, an image of an act on stage, dancers on a parade, the fancy dress obstacle course or tug of war, etc, etc.

We want you to take photographs at these local events taking place between now and Friday 2nd September and send them to us for inclusion in the ‘Summer of Fun’ gallery.

Your photos should represent:

“Summer of Fun 2016!” – The Community at Play, and Community Spirit.

You are free to define the theme as you wish, the only rules are (and see the notes):

a) you must take the photographs yourself at public community events taking place (in the HU12, HU11 or HU19 postal code areas) between now and Friday 2nd September 2016, and;

b) send up to three photographs only.

Send your photos by email only to hu12@gmx.com marked clearly with the subject line “Summer of Fun Competition Entry” stating a title for each photo sent, your name and telephone number.

Closing Date: Friday 2nd September 2016.

Prizes:
1st. £100
2nd. £50
3rd. £25.

Determined by a judging panel pulled together by HU12 Online and the Viewfinders - Through the Lens photography club.


Big Bus Day 

Saturday, September 10 at 10 AM - 4 PM at Hull Streetlife Museum

Big Bus Day is back for 2016! With vintage and modern buses, open top bus rides around Hull, bus games, bus memorabilia, photos and models to buy, the EYMS Brass Band, stars from 'On The Yorkshire Buses' and much much more, it's a great day out. Entry to the event and the Streetlife Museum is free. We had over 7,000 visitors each of the last two years, can we get even more this year?!



HIP Photography Festival

Managed by The Creative And Cultural Company from our HIP Gallery in Princes Quay Hull (UK City of culture).
